When asked if he would use Lua again for game development, Andy said that he would, if it made sense – Lua is an embedded language, so it is not always appropriate.

If you do try Go and/or App Engine, let us know how it went! Oh, and bring your creation to the next explode($pizza) event! Seriously, you should *sunglasses* go.
I’m always trying to think up an excuse to code in LOLCODE. The only real legitimate use that I can think of for this language is to show off at explode($pizza)!
Try reading through this implementation of the “99 bottles of beer” song, written in LOLCODE:

Pick any programming language or framework that you don’t know and build something with it – anything! Then bring it to the UnLab on August 23rd at 7:00pm to show it off – and enjoy free pizza!
This time we’re going to do things a little differently. There will be a secret vote for the “coolest” project – and prizes!
We’ll also be interviewing each creator and putting their story on this site.
Well, what are you waiting for? Register to participate!
